My wife and I went to a store a couple of hours away from us this evening. They happen to have a few used knives there. She, being the wonderful woman I married, suggested I dig through the $5 bins for some knives to practice my sharpening skills on. I started digging and found a couple of Imperial Ireland, which I grabbed, then I opened the blade on a nice little folder and saw Case XX staring up at me. I grabbed that one, too and away we went. Here she is:
Nice little stockman from, I believe, 1973 or thereabouts. I honestly think that when I slipped this knife in my pocket for the ride home it was the first time anyone had carried it. Neat little find.
Sorry for the crummy pictures. Proves that listening to my wife is a pretty good idea most of the time!
