Hi. I am going to the US in June. What knives would you recommend to me that are fun to play with. I live in Europe and prices here are terrible so I will try and buy as many knives as possible. No Balisongs,OTFs, or Autos (European Laws) please. Knives that are under 100$ are what I'm willing to buy.

Depending on where your going here if you get close to a Cabelas, Gander Mtn or a Bass Pro store the visit there is worth it. Retailers like Dick's sporting goods or Sports Authority will have some knives for you at good prices. Wal Mart does sell some Buck knives like the 110 or the 119 at low prices as well. Case has master distributers all over the country just search one out close to where you are going. Flea markets and Army surplus stores have great buys. You should be able to fill your bag.
Have fun,

Ontario rat 1 is one of my favorite knives to sit and play with.
Spyderco manix 2 is also fun
CRKT eraser

Kershaws OD-2 is one of the most addictive flippers I have, its hard to not sit and flip it a millions times lol.

Agreed most budget kershaws with flippers. Cryo and skyline come to mind. First assisted and second not. Both are under $50.

Kershaw od and leek or chive. Call me silly, but I like fondling my buck stockman.

Realistically useful and fun knives. Leek, Spyderco endura and delica.

Kershaw Skyline and almost any Benchmade with an Axis lock!

The CRKT ripple series are really fun to play with!

Any benchmade with the axis lock. Super addictive opening and closing.

Both of these are my suggestions.

My other suggestion is to buy online, prices are so much better, if you'll be here long enough don't bother buying in stores, order from online dealers (if possible you could start ordering now and having them delivered to a friend), even if your staying at a hotel you can have them 2-day'd there.
