I went to the Canyon Lake Tournament with a couple friends mine, Charlie and his nephew Clarence. We didn't see too many fish. Tournament was from 8pm-8am. Only 4 boats showed up with 3 man teams each. We maybe saw 60 fish the whole night. It was a fun night. Lots of BS'ing and joking around. Heres a pic of me posing as if I was about to shoot a fish.
I brought in 5 fish (4 carp and one gar), Charlie brought in 10 fish (8 carp and 2 gar), and Clarence brought in 9 fish (8 carp and 1 gar). We came in 3rd in numbers, 1st in big 5 (by weight)(50.4lbs) and 1st in big one (11.7lbs). I'm waiting on my buddy Jason to get the pics off his camera so I can post pics of me, Charlie, and Clarence with our plaques and my $50 Sportsmans Warehouse gift card I won in a raffle. Used that gift card to get me a pair of Hydro Crocs. Talked to the guys about the bowfishing knife I am working on designing and when I get setup again I will start on the prototype of it. They liked the design. So what yall think? That catfish is 38" long and 26.55lbs. 23" girth.
