Well I was hoping I'd get my FBM this week to marvel over and when I didn't, I was slightly bummed. But that changed when I saw my pristine condition AK47 stuck in my sock drawer just eternally waiting for the Zombie Apocalypse. This is supposed to be Tan Micarta handles , but it sure looks like the Maroon I've seen in pictures, no complaints there. I took that and a few of my other sharp objects out for some chopping fun.

I chopped with the Ak47 for about 15 minutes into one of the fallen pine logs that we chainsawed a few years back. During the chopping I noticed it was biting rather deeply which surprised me. I wouldn't expect it to perform as well on something harder though. I decided to throw it javelin style and got it to stick a few times. That big chopper is what I use as my primary blade its 01 steel. It tears through most every thing I put in its way.

NICE! Gotta love the ak47!!! You're also going to love your FBM... congrats on the score. What are the other fine sharp objects in the photo? I'm really diggin the one with the tan handles.

Well the tan one is a Gravelle F6 in 3V. The one to the left of it is a Bradshaw Fighter in W2 green Micarta and Carbon Fiber Bolsters. It looks sort of like the Flack Jack that was recently here on Op2w I really like that knife it was one of the first Customs I ever received here on the exchange at Bladeforums. I believe the Maker went on to Instagram or somewhere else. My RMJ shrike and the Garrison 14 inch chopper in 01.
