Fun with a Jackknife

My wife was cleaning and reorganizing her walk in closet and found an old Popular Mechanics from January 1946. Neither one of us remember where it came from or why we have it.

I would like it for my God Son-/Nephew. He and his pappy could use it for the caged ball and chain projects.

The "Why" you have it could be for that article?

Really neat leghog:cool: I found a box full of popular mechanics circa 1950's and I thoroughly enjoyed paging through them. The items, the prices, the wholesome articles...all good stuff:thumbup:

Nice gesture gifting the magazine as well, well done;)
 
thats pretty cool! i wish i knew how to sharpen a blade well, id be more inclined to try whittling
