fun with innertubes

recently got a stainless alpine mug froom bepreparedtosurvive.com it fits perfectly over a nalgene and cost a wopping 8 bucks....I cut a piece of innertube and tied it tight around my nalgene about half way up and slid the lip of the cup underneath the band (it holds real tight ) I also attatched a caribiener to the connecter that holds the lid to the nalgene and slipped about 8 ft of paracord doubled up through that for use as a strap (and extra cordage). so now I have a water rig that I can wear bandoleer style with a metal cup attatched, and it holds tight and is completely comfortable.
