Well, since the FFBM had almost eaten its way through it's factory carboard sleeve, I decide to make a better blade cover to make it safer to travel with as my car knife. Used black duct tape and a 2 liter plastic soda bottle to make it. Taped on a flash light leash with cord lock to hold the cover in place when it was sliding around under the seat. The best part was filling the soda bottle with water, taking it out back and chopping it with the FFBM
Too cool. Has anyone done this with smaller or lighter Busse? I was amazed at how easily & cleanly the FFBM sliced through the soda bottle and this was after it had split wood, cut a small yard tree, and helped fit my Christmas tree into the trash can. I may trim the milk jugs down to size next. They're taking up way too much room in the recycling bin
The more I use the FFBM the more I like it. Really need to see about getting the Mag scales hand shaped.
