Took the new BK14 with me this weekend. Took a few other friends as well.

A few glams:

Made a feather stick, but didn't take a photo of it. My feather sticks suck anywhos, haha:

Ah, looking like a knife. Love knocking the new out of a fresh blade:

Took out a perfect wedge:

Wasn't trying to feather stick, but rather take some thin slices. No problem for the 14:

BK2. Poor thing doesn't see as much action, as it's usually spending time in my BOB. Paracord bracelet courtesy of Mrs. Tradewater:

Chopped a bit with the Roselli. Interesting axe. A bit of a learning curve, but worked well:

The head is so thick, I figured it would split well. It did, but the shorter handle made it a bit inconvenient:

It feathered well. Well, if I could feather that is, haha. It's basically like using a scandi grind knife:

The bearded head allows you to get your hand behind it:

With my 11, and one of my flint strikers:

I'm losing weight, so I used the awl on my Vic Camper, to make another hole in my belt:

Had perfect weather. In the mid to upper 60's. The river had a greenish color to it today:

Had a lot of fun this weekend using the blades. Was good, and very convenient to have a necker again. Thanks for looking.

That's awesome Dubz! It's always nice to be able to get out and enjoy life. I'm hoping to get to our cabin this upcoming weekend. Have a couple new blades that I have been dying to use

Cool pics Dubz!
That area you've got just looks amazing!
That fire pic is awesome.

Thanks man. I always look forward to using the knives. I know the feeling.

Thanks man. We had a lot of fun this weekend. I finally met the guy that owns the bottoms. I officially have permission to access his land now. I was told it was okay, but always better to hear first hand.

Great post as always, man. I think the 4 pairs really well with the necker, as well. That was quite an algae explosion in the river. Warm temps, lots of sun light, and some heavy rains always does that. Beautiful to see, huh?

Thanks man, appreciate it. Yeah, the green was awesome.

That does look like a lot of fun. Weather looked really nice. What was the temperature like?

It was supposed to get up to 66° today. Not sure what the actual temp was, but I was walking around in a short sleeved t-shirt.

EDIT: Just looked it up. It hit 72° today, and 67° yesterday.

Great great pics again warrior. I've got a brand new Deskabar here waiting for some timber handles from Tommy, seems as though these days I'm limited to weekends as im always working. You've given me the itch to get out.

Thanks man. We love getting outside and using the blades. Lots of fun, plus just the learning in general about the blades.

Yes! I love to see this kinda stuff. Nice job portraying your outing, TheWarrior. Those are some stellar pics for sure, seemed like a hell of a time.

Really enjoyed looking at the pics, Dubz. Makes me think I've got some work to do on my Brute while I'm home due to our weather, which is blowing snow and 11° right now. 72°? I thought you lived in Illinois, not Florida.

Of course, for you....it's a 2 finger handle...this pic kind of cracked me up a little.

Great pics man, that triple baton is kool as hell

+1

Awesome pictures as always Warrior. Thanks for taking us with you! I can't wait for the weather to get a little nicer over this way so I can head out to the woods for some fun.

We were in Missouri. It was 39° when we got home, haha. I still had my tshirt on.

Thanks man. Not sure what made me think of it tbh. I gave it a couple of tries. I was wanting the BK9 to only go partially into it, but you know, being the king and all, it wanted to go all the way through. haha

Thanks man. I'm already eager to get back in the trees.
