Functional sword that can take a LOT of abuse

Imo, I would rather every sword Not be a Coldsteel as we already have so much video of their blades out there. As far as a katana I think an interesting choice would be the hanwei practical xl as its very affordable and has a real hamon. Or maybe a kris cutlery katana.

As far as the broadsword , Imo the hanwei tinker sword of war would be interesting. Or maybe the windlass longsword as its very affordable for most everybody and is decent from what I hear.

As far as the rapier style sword, maybe the windlass Italian rapier would be cool to test out.

These are all quite affordable and I think these videos can help out a lot of people trying to pick their first sword perhaps.

I can only offer a big yawn. Any well heat treated and well constructed sword can perform these "amazing" feats.

Instead, look at the failures, such as Cold Steel pommels falling off and the crappy construction of a lot of Cheness swords. Videos often show what producers want you to see. Instead, look at reviews of swords done by the consumers.

Well it wasn't enough of a yawn to prevent you from posting. So I ask you seriously, what are your thoughts here? Because at the speed things move around here. It didn't need a bump.

Dogbertius, The Cheness tsuka dose leave something to be desired, but sturdy enough for fooling around. The fooling around with friends, and ballistics dummy. Concern me far more. Potentially hazardous situation if anything goes snap or flying. I only ever put myself at danger "goofing" around. Because even strong swords are subject inherent defects. And a rapidly moving blade section, flying at my organs is bad :D Let alone at my buddy.

A search of the most expensive knife. Might render a subject that was here. About a man using a openiel (no i don't know how to spell it, and i'm not stopping to google it) to attack his friend, who was shagging his wife. After court & medical fees. A 15 dollar knife coust him over 600 thousand dollars. Buds are buds till, someone is hurt, mad or dead. All because of your own stupidity.
