funny,but sad

That is classic for sure. I doubt we'll see a bidding war break out. I put it on my watch list.

Buy it Thawk. I am curious to know if it is as bad as he says it is. Not curious enough to buy it myself, mind you. I've already "taken one for the Gipper" more times than I care to admit. I keep hearing about how the quality is improving and "there are no bad knives". But I also keep hearing from disappointed buyers as well. The knives do have a warranty I believe. Perhaps this might be an opportunity to see how well the warranty works?

My watch list isn't necessarily my buy list. The shipping alone would put it out of reach for me. Usually when I see the word "grinder" in the description, it tends to scare me off somewhat. It is even less appealing than the phrase, "can probably be buffed right out".:thumbdn:

3 bids and closed out at a steal for .75 cents.some people just have to much disposable income, that would have bought a few drops of gas.

The seller of this knife is my new hero. I laughed so hard I spilled a can of pop on the floor and couldnt even pick it up. If I saw more stuff like that every day I wouldnt be so high strung!!!! That is GRRRRRREATTT!!!!!- laughing my ass off.- Joel

I think that guy just needs some of Mr. Taylors front men to explain to him what a great knife it is. After all, the name is all that matters right?

I guess thats what taylor is counting on. I have told people that schrade closed the doors, and they just look at you like your crazy, then reply,i just saw a whole display case full at the harware store.

I have seen quite a few Schrade displays in hardware stores with the Chinese Old Timers and Uncle Henry knives, but I have yet to see any of them bust for any of the "new" handle materials and patterns. The only exception was a Desert Sandalwood I saw at a Sportsmans Warehouse (Bass Pro Shop kind of superstore).
