Funny/Cute Knife Thingy

I was buying some smokes yesterday at a 76 station. The guy that works there knows I like knives. He told me about a new lighter they got that has a built in switchblade. So what happens... I bought one. I was over at Zantetsuken's appt. and neither of us could stop laughing at it. It's got horrid blade play and **** steel, but its just so cute.

It's a cheap pot-metal butane lighter. The blade is legal size and it comes out the side. Not bad though, for 7 bucks.

Mine is also a butane rechargeable job, chromed pot-metal and all. With a tiny 2", soft stainless blade, no envelope is "safe"! I picked it up at a gas station too for around $4.00-$5.00. Heck, I couldn't go wrong. Besides, chicks think it's "cute". Definitely one of the "funner" knives I've bought for the money!

I have an OTF version- Scared the pants off of the guy at the flea market with the "that's illegal in NYC" story. I have short hair & look like a cop (or so I'm told) & the guy let me have it for $3.00. Seemed relieved to have it off of his table. The "ex" hated it & would give me heavy grief when I played with it.

But yeah it is kind of shoddy, but what do you expect for a novelty

I think that you can usuially find pictures of it on ebay.
