Walking through the local flea market and there were a couple of old men with several cases full of Frost/United/No Name folders and a grinding wheel. Apparently, one of them saw the clip sticking out of my pocket and asked "Hey son, you want to get your knife sharpened? Only $10!" I politely declined and started to walk past the booth. "C'mon there, son. I'll get that knife SHARP for you." I have three on me today. My Vic Camper, an Endura (which he saw), and an Izula II on my belt. I worked all three this morning on my Sharpmaker and gave each a quick strop. I told the guy that I'd sharpened them this morning and again, said no thanks. "Son, let me show you how sharp a PRO can get your knife!" I walked back to the booth, pulled out my Endura, and with one swipe shaved a large ball of hair off my arm. "Thanks sir, but I think I have them sharp enough...."

Sharpmaker FTW!!!! :D

Nice! You should have mentioned that "Pros" don't carry Frost.....

Heh, I noticed the guy in question was so proud of the knives he was selling....

....that he had a Buck 110 on his belt!

There is, believe it or not, a guy there who, for the most part, carries really nice pieces. He overcharges. He knows it. People keep buying them, though, so I don't blame him. He's cool enough to let me check out his stock when I'm there in case there's something I've been wanting to see. He has nice selections of Spyderco, Ka Bar, Cold Steel, Kershaw, Case, etc. Just asks more than I'll spend on them.
