They may have their use but they look funny:confused:

Rodents chewed the first one, like an elk shed in the forest. And it looks like an ass-pain to sharpen.

The second one is goofy-looking, but not too bad.

The first one is probably for digging. It would be very good for that. No way it was made for food preparation :)

Fred Perrin makes some knives that have that raw style that I really admire. The first one takes it a little to far. Like a caveman made it.

I like the first one. It reminds me of an oldschool obsideon knife. I mean, I have no use for it. But then, technically, I have no use for about half my knives.

I really like the second one. It looks like really useful stout little fixed blade. The one on the top is definately looks good for SD purposes.

Like said above, what one man thinks look bad will look great to another.

I think some of it has to do with the fact that some people have been into knives their whole life and have seen their fair share of Loveless drop points and bowies. To them, something different may look just right.

It is sort of how some lifelong musicians turn to 12-tone music, impressionism, or jazz, because they are sick of "normal" music. But to a non-musician, those genres sound horrible and pop is where it's at.

Those were made by Richard Derespina. He has a pretty interesting style that blends refined tactical with raw & pre-historic. I like some of his stuff and some of it escapes me. Cool and unique either way though.

Few examples of "pre-historic tactical" stolen off TAD Gear. ;)

I didn't think that there coule be a knife that was cool and stupid at the same time. By the way, I'm drunk ring know with Jack Daniels. Please excuse me.
