I recently got a small neck knife by Dawson. Every body makes fun of it but that is OK. For a small neck knife it has a very secure grip because of the finger hole.

That looks very useful, thanks for sharing.

I may have to call him up.

"Aaahh" a bird and trout knife made into a neck knife great idea and cool knife.

I too thought of the bird and trout but everyone I show it to talks about scissors. Mr. Dawson said he took alot of kidding while it was on his table. People looking for the other half.

Ha ha ha....That was the first thing I thought when I saw it...where's the other half of the scissors??

Honestly, that is a good design. I managed to pull my neck knife out and conveniently drop it when I needed it most. The finger hole does have it's advantages.

That's a new approach. Somewhat similar to the Perrin/Emerson LaGriffe. Think I like the Lagriffe approach better, but would take a less curved blade as an improvement myself:

LaGriffe is 4.75" in total length, cutting edge is 1.75" measured in a straight line.

I use the second finger. Once you pick it up it is very natural to hold.
