Alot of good that would do...of course unless you were hugging your attacker. O_o
 
Have you guys actually seen the kind of damage that a Kydex sheath can do to an assailent?!?!?:D:D

Your all wrong, see your supposed to rip the kydex sheath off and start the knife spinning around your neck, than while the blade is spinning wildly around your neck you advance and hug your attacker to death.:D
 
You guys are too funny. You think eventually we will be buying the sheath first and then looking for a knife to fit it. You know...we buy the custom sheath first, and then look for a production knife to fit it. Maybe some of us will decide to just collect the sheaths. Perhaps some of use can post our sheath collections. News Flash; " Man successfully scares attacker off with an empty knife sheath ....but is susequently hospitalized with severe self inflicted neck lacerations. "....you got me started !... that pic' a RIOT....and so are you guys !

I have a custom Kydex sheath for a Cold Steel Bushman that I got in part of a trade and don't know what to do with. Maybe I'll buy a Bushman, but then maybe I'll just hang the sheath around my neck as a converstation piece at parties.;)
 
Or maybe it is the modern version of cyanide. You yank the sheath off and then stab yourself in the jugular
 
Gramps I can remember reading about a Hungarian Paratroopers knife that you used the sheath to throw the knife so using a sheath offensively is possible.
 
Let's find someone to teach us all "defensive sheath tactics"......."I go armed into the night armed only with a sheath" !

Hey I keep my folder open when i pull it out for a attacker I fold it closed ! Dont wanna hurt the poor guy !
 
I don't know Tony maybe it's a new less than lethal technique: Grab the sheath jerk it off and pommel them with it.

You wrap the chain around their neck, and then go to work with the blade....
