Have you ever tried to shave your face (or legs for ladies lol) with your knife?
yes I know it's a stupid question but i had nothing else in my mind...

bladezealot shaved his head with his audra draper damascus fixed blade some months back....that piece is so sharp you could literally split a hair with it....feverdoc

Yes, and here's the strange part. Almost every time I try to shave with a "safety" razor I end up drawing blood, but I've never cut myself shaving with a knife. For some reason razors tend to catch on my skin, which leads to bleeding. Safety razors aren't safe, at least not in my hands. It does take a bit longer using a knife, but once I factor in the time it takes to stop the all the bleeding it's actually faster.

I did once..., worked OK too.., but Wayne Goddard sharpened the knife at a Knife Show for me... I've never tried it with one I sharpened...-and won't- ;)

You be a wise individual. I shaved part of my face with a factory sharpened Buck NXT which worked well. Tried to shave part of my arm with a knife I sharpened myself, not pretty. Anyhoo, in regards to the primary question, I've tried it and satisified myself that it can be done. For now though, I've gone back to my mach 3.
