If aliens landed in your backyard, and said "hey let's go" Along with your towel and toothbrush what 1 knife would you grab up before leaving.:)

Something non-magnetic, just in case their propulsion system creates strong magnetic waves.

The one's that I am already carrying. I would use the towel to grab & wrap my CD's and bottle of scotch for the ride. I wouldn't waste time as I wouldn't want to miss my chance to get off of this damn screwed up planet.

Due to Intergalactic Travel Security Commission rules, it is not legal to bring knives aboard UFOs in your carry on luggage. It would have to be in your checked baggage.

But I'd take my Spyderco Delica 4.

It would depend on if these are large aliens or small aliens. If large, I'd have to grab my Gerber BMF...If they are small aliens, the Kershaw Cyclone that I always have with me would be good enough. The aliens might even be fascinated with the AO and on/off wheel of this folder just long-enough for me to make an escape.:D.

Good question. If I couldn't find my lightsaber, I'd have to go with a bat'leth, which I'd have to assume is made by Spyderco.

Most important thing, even before a knife, is getting a towel. If you know why, then you're a geek, and so do I.

Then, I get something really primitive and big, because I know they can provide me something small and Hi-tech.

They usually say " You think we came all the way down here to do what with a probe ? " You should be asking if we should use steel, bismuth or lead shot to greet them !!

I'd bring this document with me:

Alien and Sedition Acts

Signed into law by President John Adams in 1798, the Alien and Sedition Acts consisted of four laws passed by the Federalist-controlled Congress as America prepared for war with France. These acts increased the residency requirement for American citizenship from five to fourteen years, authorized the president to imprison or deport aliens considered "dangerous to the peace and safety of the United States" and restricted speech critical of the government. These laws were designed to silence and weaken the Democratic-Republican Party.

Busse Battle Mistress or one of Chris Reeves fixed blade (one-piece knife). And my camera definitely, so I can show ya knife-freaks what kind of knives they have in their homeland...

:D

Technically if the starship was comlying with the ITSC rules, by definition, they couldn't be a UFO.

All you need is the towel, and DON'T PANIC.

LM pulse, and whatever I can trade for his copy of the guide. then I'll just borrow whatever else I need. Do you know where your towel is?
