yeah, Ive got the system.
works pretty well, Im kinda repeating myself but its a really simple system to use and pretty foolproof.
You dont need to worry too much about beeing exact with your hone angle, as long as your fairly vertical with your blade.. itl do its thing.
If youve already got a fairly acute primary bevel.. then a coupla passes thru the diamond fingers will do the trick.
if you need to set an angle, use the carbide cutters but be careful. It will tear chunks out of really hard steel tho if you push down too hard. light passes are the trick.
a coupla passes thru the honing fingers will give you a razor edge without too much trouble. Ive found that too many passes thru the hone will actually create another burr so try not to over do it. Just a few passes to take off the original burr.
I used to think it was super tricky to get a blade to shave but now ive got the furi tech hone, sharpmaker and a hard felt buffing wheel... I just need to decided which way I want to do it
for everyday kitchen touchups... I find myself goin for the furi tho.
Its just so easy to use and setup.
