I found a place locally that sells used industrial equipment. The gentleman had a Sentry Electric Furnace 2500-degree that doesn't work. He wasn't sure if the coil was out or what. The price is a whopping $50. One problem is that the chamber is a little small. My question is how tough are these things to work with (enlarge the chamber) and to fix? Or should I just pony up 50 bucks and just play around with it?

Gosh MIchaeal, I don't know. I'm really not a furnace master. I am more of a fire bug with and electronic background that has a furnace. If all it is is an element or two you might have something there. If its a electronic problem you may not. Can't really tell from here and I know nothing about that make.
