- Bandage

- Sponge (dew collection)
- Potholder
- Washcloth
- Cold compress
- Bag...

And as a bag, most just fold up the corners and then you have to hold or tie four ends.

Here is a neat trick to eliminate all those ends and easily secure your contents. It comes from the Japanese art of folding cloth, Furoshiki. Check out how to do it in the video...

This is why the shemagh is so useful. One trip to the beach I used it as a fanny pack to hold my gear as I didn't want to lug around a backpack. Worked great.
