I was rubbing down my scabbard for "Jewel", as I have come to know her, and I found that her scabbard is still a little bit furry, there is cow stubble on the leather, and the scabbard smells like a water buffalo too! :barf:

(She is Nepali, and I guess she still has a little Americanization left to do.) I slathered a bunch of Corona on her scabbard to try to cover up some of the smell, and make her more soft and supple.

I have a question for the "experts",Should I try to shave her?

Or maybe I should send her to Terry when I have $$ and get her a new special sexy something to slip into? Maybe some Khukri Langure???

Uncle is right....Terry will have a full time business one way or another, him and his wife Sandy! :D :D :D

If this thread pushes the limit, I apilogise. It is late and I have a beautiful khukri in my lap. ;)
( I didn't mean it that way and you know it!!! :o )

Man, I laughed so hard coffee came out of my nose.

I can just picture the look on the wife if she came across me shaving a scabbard, nice scented shaving foam and all... ;)

In the past we've extolled the use of Hooflex, Corona, Fiebing's and Lexol....Who woulda guessed we'd ever need Gillette???

On the other hand there are those who note this forum is a wee bit different than the others. So they say at least ( I can't imagine why??? ).

Every now and then I'll get in a furry scabbard & I have to chuckle at it. But, Dave, we won't be getting cowhide. That's a no-no in that part of the world. I rather like the fur myself but for those who don't I think taking a razor to it shouldn't hurt a thing.

So she dosen't wear leather?...he he ;)
What type of leather does she wear if they are not allowed to use cows (I forgot they are sacred over there)? Is watter buffalo not a cow? Is that why they can use the horn too?

Right now I am thinking about getten myself outa debt and then goin to Terry for a special something for her instead of messing with it. I'd rather have a furry scabbard than a chipped scrapped and cut up scabbard.:)

And that's all I got to say today in the mood I'm in.
I could really put my foot in it today ifen I wuzn't careful.:D:D:D:D

Yvsa, quietly tiptoeing out the back way while in a fit of snickering.:p   :D

I mean I can think of a thousand answers for just the title alone.:o

It will be alright I think until someone mentions something about hot wax and then I'm liable to lose it.:o :p  :D

All the lad has to do is hop down to the corner Walgreen's, go to ladie's beauty aids counter, and ask for a jar of NAIR.

HOT WAX......BHHHWWAWAAAHAHAHA :D

Wal,

You beat me to the Nair comment... but you know, the hot wax sounds more fun :)

Dave, just remember she's from overseas... the women over there have a habit of not shaving regularly :D

<slipping into a day dream about a Terry S. quickdraw sheath for Jewel's little sister... maybe a horizontal carry type... just right for a SOB carry>.... DROOL!!!!

Foreign women...I guess it is one of those "The grass is greener on the other side" things. Exotic qualities may really be lack of American qualities. Maybe that is what attracts us to the Himilayans. Maybe that is what attracts us to the knives of the Himilayans.

But this one is MINE AC...MINE MINE MINE !!!...she may be hairy and smell like a stabel, but she is unlike anyother I have met or seen.

So if you want one AC, I suggest you have Uncle order one! Oh yeah, That's right I am defending my Khukri! So watcha gonna do about it?

Ha, I laugh at you!

I just realised that I havent mentioned the scary edge she has, most of the blade almost shaves, about the last 3 inches does shave!

I thought it was neat. :)
