Ok, why didn't anyone tell me this came with this uber cool Busse style cardboard sheath too?

Next to my well loved BK-7

With the new style engraving... not marked USA anymore due to using steel from Germany

Next steps...
etch the engravings, put a nicer edge on there.... chop and baton some wood... in random order

So my 9 tasted wood for the first time today ...
Not much time so no firemaking.
Made a great first impression on me.

Forgot how the wood sticks on the coating of a fresh Becker

Crag the Brewer I need to take it out some more to be able to make a real comparison

I have a small issue with the sheath.
It's near impossible to close the button snap.
I thought it the band would maybe stretch a bit with some use but it's not improving.

Any chance Ka-Bar will replace this sheath?
Can't return the whole package as I etched the knife allready...

Have someone make you a leather or Kydex sheath . You will be happier in the long run. My BK-10 and BK-10 ride high and tight at about 4:00 O'clock in kydex

That material doesn't stretch. Was it that way with the factory scales?
You could move the (or add another) snap.
Also yeah, custom sheaths are a great option, and the 9 is totally worth it.
