Last night my dad gave me a mini keychain balisong, it has black and silver speckled handles and on the blade it says "Fury 29741" and on the tang it says "stainless steel" (over) "China" :

sorry the picture is so small

I've had a silver key chain for several years but nothing is "written" on the blade:

The latch on the "Fury" is like a hard rubber, the pins are gigantic on one side and are extremely loose. It was given to a coworker of my dad's who gave it to my dad to give to me. I know it's not a shocking find but does any one know anything about it (does anyone care

Also, I have a problem scanning my BM balisongs:

When I scan any other balisong the lines don't show up but when I scan my BM's or some of my folders the blades (on the folders) and the whole balisong has these lines on them.

Can anyone help me?? I have adjusted color, resolution, anything I could do, I've changed the background (black t-shirt, jeans, burgundy pull-over, nothing covering it). The only thing that works is turning them sideways but I can't get a shot of the whole balisong locked open.

Could it be that the lines are the reflections of the light (scanning light) from the scanner? Since the BM Balis you have are stainless steel and titanium, they should have a reflection... and so should the blades on your folders (assuming they are also ss - the handles on the folders probably aren't ss).

Do you use those BM Balisongs? Could be wear marks that you do not notice under normal view. (Just guessing!

I had a very good friend of mine bring me a camera today. Going to try another shot at filming some of my knives. Let me know if you find out what that is.

Catch you on the flip side!

Those aren't from normal wear. What happens when you put them in the scanner the other way? (horizontally?)

Good luck-

So I think you are saying that placement has alot to do with it ? Is there any way to fine-tune your scanner to omit these imperfections? I do not know as I do not have a scanner...(yet)!

CYOTFS!

When I turn it horizontally there is a concentration of light at the bottom of the handles (or the side of the handles):

Sorry the picture is kinda big, I didn't know it would be that large. Also, sorry the blades aren't clean, I just wanted to get a scan done, it's late...

But a big problem is that I don't get the whole 9" (or more) of the balisong

I guess I can't scan my BM balisongs vertically and locked open, I'll have to have the handles slightly open (more closed than open so that the handles are at a slight angle and the blade is horizontal). If anyone has an opinion I would be glad to hear it, and I will look into a camera.

Actually, those aren't bad at all for getting the point across.

OOPS, I guess it's big depending on your resolution (of the monitor), mine fluxiates on it's own and I can't ever change it when it gets big (I can't change it back to 1024x768 when it is at 800x600).

Anyone know anything of the Fury keychain balisong??

What is there to know about them? I use to sell the keychain butterfly knives 5 for $10 plus $2 airmail shipping. I quit selling them because I ran out of gold and it was just to boring to think about ordering more of them in. I still got bunches of those little things around here, maybe I will put them on my web page one of these days. Thanks, JohnR7 www.BalisongKnife.com
