Fusion BM Question

i'm pretty sure the one i held was, but maybe we'll luck out and get a full convex version, too!

voracious:

since you've held the fbm, and several other bm's, is it true that the fbm is lighter than the SHBM and BME?

it's hard to estimate the comparative weight, but i will say it's defenitely livelier and quicker in the hand than any straight or e-handle mistress.
this is due mostly to the fusion handle i think.

"flat v grind
does that refer to the blade geometry or the actual edge?

Hydraulicman"

Yes, it refers to the blade geometry.

The edge on current knives are convex.

I thought the Fusion BM was longer and wider than it's predecessors. So to be lighter, it would have to be thinner stock, or have a more radical grind angle spine-to-edge.

Although balance is completely independent of weight. I have some four-inch blades that feel like bricks, and some fourteen inch feathers.
