Fusion BM vs. SH blade shape

To be honest, I would go with both. If I had to get only one, the BM fits my needs better for all around applications.

My vote would be the BM.

I love BMs just because they're BAD. In reality I have around 0 use for them, except to fill my mall ninja fantasies.(especially since I use HI Khuk for when I need a big knife) I should just stick with Badgers, and Streets, and ADs, and Skeleton keys, etc., but I can't because... because...
I'm just as addicted as everyone else.

I have user SHBM and it is SICK!!!!!!!!!!

I have thrown it (Not recommended as it's not designed for it), Demolished a cabinet, chomped through 2x4's.. the mistress is just plain beautiful. But the fusion SH is similar in size. I would imagine if the FSH appealed to you more, that you won't be dissappointed.

The new FSH and FBM really appeal to me, but the FBM wins hands down. I've always been a fan of the Mistress line, and this new one will continue it for me. I for one am thrilled to see the new BM is not a drop point.

why is that? what appeals to you about the clip? sorry for the newbie question, it just seems less versatile. Partly the tradition of the older, straight-handled ones?

Yes, I admit the FBM seems to follow the line started with the straight handled Mistresses more than the BM-E ever did as far as appearance is concerned...IMHO

Damn straight :D

VIVA LA FBM!!!

No worries on the newbie questions. We are always glad to help out. For me, the clip point is sleeker, better lookin' and shexier then the spear point IMO.

I have a soft spot for clip point blades.

i prefer a clip because for me the point is.... more delicate, more usable... i guess not for picking out splinters but for the same kind of use but on a larger scale.
