Interesting that Busse Knife company takes orders for the new style knives from some folks, but not others. It just goes to show there is room for smart companies in any business.

We have not taken and will not take ANY orders from ANYBODY for the new style knives until they are offered. Period.

Mike H's Custom Bowie is just that. . . . a "Custom" bowie. It is a one-of-a-kind custom piece from the Busse Custom Shop. It has a fusion style handle just like the MOAB but has a tapered blade profile and is 5/16" thick. . . . It is a saweeeeeet blade! :cool:

How much of a taper? Like ricasso to tip taper?:eek:

Edge to spine taper. Narrow at the ricasso. . . . much wider at the belly or forward sweep of the blade. . . .. The MOAB does have this same taper but it is not as pronounced.

The Mike H Bowie also has fairly decent sweep along the clip in a trailing point style. . . .

Very, very mean knife!

What amazes me is how balanced and lively this knife feels in spite of being so large.

Congrats, you'll have to bring this one to Blade next year so that we can check it out. Great looking knife :D:D
