Hi, here a couple pics of one I finished up today. Blade is 9" of clay hardened W2. Cuts coming and going.
Fittings are heat blued damascus. Handle is curly maple with a Japanese-ish wrap.
I know the wrap material isn't traditional and the knots aren't correct.. If any one knows the proper knots to use when the wrap doesn't pass over the end of handle I would love to know.
may switch over to a more traditional material, but as of know I'm happy with it.
