Fusion Mistress or AK?

I'd just like a quick vote.
If given a choice which one would you pick and why?
Don't worry about my situation, I just want to hear which one you would pick if give a choice to recieve one as a gift, please disreguard cost issues.

In my uneducated oppinion it really depends on what your intended purpose is. If you intend on keeping the said blade as a safe queen or investment then the AK would win hands down. However, if you are looking for a knife that will be able to do absolutely every field task imaginable, and then some, then the Fusion Battle Mistress would be my choice.

I have no experience whatsover with a Busse sword, but I am sure it would be not only a thing of beuty but a tool/weapon more that cpable of handleing everything you could throw at it. However, for the simple reason that the blade would be shorter, the Fusion Battle Mistress would, in my oppinion, be better suited to bush wacking.

Me, as a user not a collecter, will probably go for the Busse Fussion Battle Mistress.

AK is probably more impressive, depending on the final specs. Sort of different from most blades, and if performance specs like reviews I've heard of the original, then very, very nice, especially for slicing air. If you're talking an original AK vs. an oldie BM, then definitely the AK.

For using, probably go with a Fusion SH, but I wouldn't turn down a Mistress!

Please completely disregard monetory or collector value.
Let me know your resons,
maybe you just think the AK is cooler,
or maybe You really want it for Kendo practice or self defense or whatever.
 
Get both! I was thinking that you only wanted to get one or the other. I generally use my blades for work so I am probably going to go with Fusion Battle Mistress. However, the AK is a very tempting peice of INFI. :D

I think it would be a good idea to wait until you see some pictures of the AK. Then make up your mind.
 
Fusion Mistress hands down. My heart has been aching ever since Jerry posted the first pic back in '03.

The AK is nice but doesn't hit me like a Mistress.
 
AK. Destined to be a rarity, and just too cool.:cool:

What would be even cooler would be if you actually had a use for it, like slashing through the jungle and fending off the natives.;)
 
Definately the Mistress. I really like the looks and collector factor of the old AK and I'm sure the new one would be even cooler. But I tend to go for knives that I'd be willing to put to hard use, and I can see myself using the BM a lot. I can't see that about the AK. I also really like the look of the BM as pictured on Bad Mojo, something about it just speaks to me.

if you were to give one or the other as a gift to someone who knows nothing about hi end cutlery i think they would be far more impressed with the sword over a knife.

also if you were to give me one as a gift i want the sword and i'll buy my own mistress :p
 
Fusion Mistress for me please: I like beating on my Busses, and I can think of a lot more things to use a big knife for. I'd spend more time looking at a sword than using it, and for me, that just isn't right.
 
ak - you can trade it for a fusion mistress later+cash. and you never know, in a choked down grip, you might be able to get similar performance out of it compared to the fusion mistress.
