Fusion quench 10????

A buddy of mine gave me some and I don't know if it's better than canola oil (what I currently use) for high carbon like 5160 and 1095. Anyone got any information??? Thanks

I asked about this product awhile back and really only got “just use Parks 50” as a response. I do use P50, and I have not tried Fusion. They are priced equivalently, so I chose to go with the known product. That doesn’t mean P50 is better or that Fusion isn’t a good product, but any oil formulated specifically for quenching will be superior to canola oil in terms of chemistry, repeatability, and longevity
of use, which equates into value over time.

YMMV, of course.

Looks a bit slower than parks 50. Might work to some degree for thin 1095, should work for 5160
