Anyone ever used "Fusion Quench 10 Premium Quench Oil" available on Amazon? Made in USA and seems to be reasonably priced, especially with free shipping. Description says it's a medium speed oil.

It states it is a medium speed oil. Parks #50 is just a buck more.
Yes, I understand. But shipping is 15.00 for one gallon from USA K. Quite a difference in total cost, percentage wise. That's why I am just asking if anyone has actual experience with this particular product. I just happened to run across it, had never heard of it.

Since we can't post a link on this site, do you have an item number for the Fusion quench oil? I did a search and only found beauty products.

Search "quench oil for knifemaking" and not only does the Fusion come up first for me but the Parks 50 comes up second (from "Mr Volcano") and is only a buck more per gallon shipped (with Prime), just like Stacy pointed out.

The question I'd have is what steels you are going to be using, medium speed oil is not fast enough for some steels.

Ok, I see that now. Duh. I'm usimg my phone app and didn't see that. The Mr. Volcano Parks 50 shows up a couple entries down for me, but you're correct...as usual. :)I actually never looked on Amazon for Parks, I just ran across this and was curious.

Well, that seems like it would work, but it didn't for me. I did a search on "quench oil for knifemaking" and it also shows up mostly beauty products on my Amazon page. Perhaps my wife ruined my Amazon search with searching for her beauty products?

By doing a general Google search for "quench oil for knifemaking" then the Amazon page shows up with Fusion and Parks products.

Interesting. The "quench oil for knifemaking" was an Amazon suggestion that popped up about when I had "oil" typed. They have a strange search engine, at times, because of that AI they have deciding what you would want to see most.

search - "fusion quench" or "Parks 50"

When I search Parks 50 the two come up side-by-side.

Just to show I'm not totally dumb, here's a link to she search for on Amazon for "quench oil for knifemaking". Since it's not for a single product, but a general search it should be OK under the rules? Yep, Parks 50 or Fusion Quench does come up.

and here is the one for "Fusion Quench 10 Premium Quench Oil"

As I said, the wife must be searching for beauty products much more than I knew about :)

If my wife gets hand on my phone ... I'll have to swim across the Atlantic 🤣

Please no sales site links!

As I said earlier, just use the two words names - "Parks 50 and fusion quench". Leave off oil and 10.
