Thanks guys, the FSH looks a little wider & maybe a little longer, pretty close though. I have a Ratweiler, but I wanted a FSH to go with my FBM, but no money. my Rat is close enough in size to be a compromise! Thanks again!
 
A few months ago I saw a pic with an FSH and a RW in it, and was surprised how close the RW was in size to the FSH. Cobalt commented that the RW was the Swamp vesrion of the FSH. I used to think that the RW and the Camp Tramp were essentially the same blade with different handles, until I got my first CT a few weeks ago, and realized how much bigger the RW really is.
 
I actually like the clip point on the Rat better than th FSH, but I would still like one. most FSHs on the for sale forums are fattys, I dont like the way they feel! not alot of standard FSHs for sale!

the RW is a nice blade, even if it is a rat...

The RW is alot of bang for the buck. I still think it's one of the nicest Rats made. Has a great feel to it and the size is very close to a std FSH. True the blade width is slightly less, the FSH comes in close to 2" and the RW is right around 1 3/4" if my memory serves me right. Still wish I had hung onto the one I put a DC on, it had the original micarta on it. The pattern was a little nicer than the later ones. Either way, a fine knife. Currently the Mini Uncle Mojo Custom I recently picked up has my attention, I really like the serrations. Another fine knife for the money. :thumbup:
