Won't do much good unless the internal components are also rust proof, which I imagine would cost a pretty penny for that much titanium. Might even have to switch over to a liner lock for that purpose.I would like a rust proof manix 2 in h1
I believe Sal said that Spyderco is developing an H1 Dragonfly model. There is also a Hawkbill Ladybug in H1 in the works as well.
On a related note, the Ed Schempp Rock Salt has been discontinued in H1 steel. Sal has said it looks like they will re-introduce the Rock Salt in VG10. I can't wait for that one.![]()

I'd like to see a H1 dive knife fixed blade. No scales but the handle should be drilled for weight and so the end user can do a cord wrap if they so desire. The blade should be a dagger style. One edge should be plain and hollow ground. The "top" edge should be full serrated and flat ground. Blade length would be between 4-5" for a total length of between 10-11". Blade should be 3/16" stock.
I've been hoping for the comeback of the Catcherman in H1 or the introduction of a H1 fixed blade fillet knife. What fisherman wouldn't want a fillet knife that won't rust, particularly saltwater fishermen? There may be some suitability issues with H1 in this application that I am unaware of, because I'm sure the Spyderco braintrust has at least considered it.
It would be nice to see an H1 knife in anything besides FRN and pinned construction.
Let get some G10 going Sal.
