The airshow was in town a couple of weeks ago at MacDill AFB. My son and I got on base Friday as a guest of a Lt. Colonel and got a sneak peek of the air show and the military goodies before the crowds arrived on Saturday. We camped-out on the base Friday night and were privileged to see the Golden Knights parachute onto the beach at the south-end of the beach. Man, what a treat.

Here are some pics of our adventure.

Brings back memories. I can remember my dad taking me to an air show when I was around 10 and getting to fire (blanks) an M60. Lots of fun.

No "live" firing weapons at this show.

I remember my dad taking me to the airshows also. Always a good time.
