Future of the Sebenza 25...graphics, reverse, wood, damascus, & those awesome beads?

Clearly the Sebenza 25 is a hit despite being perhaps the most dramatic visual modification to the line since the Seb was introduced...

But what about it reaching where the Sebenza 21 is currently at? Does anyone know if the Sebenza 25 is going to see unique and CG graphic options? Perhaps damascus blades or wood inlays?

And maybe even the awesome looking lanyard they had on the original 25 piece run of the first Sebenza 25s?

CRK's always hush-hush on product releases...and given how Apple product releases or new Nike Air Jordans tend to result in stampedes and government shutdowns, I understand. But that doesn't make me less patient as I would really like a Unique Graphic 25. In the past few months has any word come on this or perhaps something revealed at SHOT?

anyone? anyone?

Bueller?

I think Chris said somewhere eventually the 25 will have options like the 21.

They already have a micarta 25, and it's ugly.

They'll come. And technically there already is a 25 CGG released if you happen to have an extra $2500 lying around.

I will agree the micarta scene on the page is not what I thought it would be like. I hope this is just a prototype as I will not buy one. I hope they do a full inlay like the annuals. I honestly think that is what would look good inlay wise on the 25 sebenza. Just my 2 cents.

One thing the 21 line offers that I'd love to see come to the 25 is the small. Also maybe the insingo blade option :)

I for one would love to see a 25 inlaid with Snakewood. And I also second the notion the inlay would look nicer if they were done like the Annuals..

+1... can't speak to what the future will hold for the 25, but personally i'm really looking forward to a small 25 insingo as well. a small, tanked out version of the insingo would be impossible for me to pass up for edc. from what i've seen lately, (correct me if i'm wrong here) there is a pretty low availability of the small 21 insingo, so a 25 version would probably be a home run for crk imho. not into the micarta 25 either, but we'll have to see where they go with any upcoming variations. the plain jane 25 is an amazing knife though, have zero problems with it in every regard. excellent platform to build off for the future.

i hope they go back to the 21 style pivot bushing. that's one of the best features on the sebbie, and add a bit of material back to the thumb release of the lockbar. i have a very hard time moving the lock bar on the umnumzaan and the 25 (which is why i sold my 25) and love love LOVE how easy it is to use the larger lockbar cutout on the 21. those are both real world usability features that are missing on the 25, and bit less so on the Umnumzaan (which has a bit of a groove, but is still a chore to close one handed for me compared to the 21).

I love my 25, i want to check out a small 21 in person before buying, if i could get a large 25 insigno, well i'd be excite again, no?

I love the large blade size

Been a little while since I traded my 25, but upon some perspective and reflection, I realize that there is nothing about the 25 I prefer to the 21 except the lack of a locating hole. I much prefer the bushing pivot, single tool takedown, symmetric stop bar, and have even decided I prefer the old hollow grind (longer "sharpenability" since the shoulders won't widen out as fast). If CRK doesn't change what has been shown as a 25 inlay, they will lose a demand IMHO.

Atony, I agree with you 100%. I would request and hope that the starburst pattern would be modeled after the Umnum version. That pattern has a real grip!

I can forgive for the ugly inlay as long as they make a WC version!

I agree about the Star Tac pattern over the Starbenza, as I find the Starbenza to be rougher on pockets yet not as good in the hand as the Zaan. Much prefer the looks too.

I want a lefty 25 with a damascus insingo blade. That will never happen but a guy can hope haha.

I hope they do their inlays on the 25 like they did on the regulars. I thought the single piece of inlay was very aesthetically pleasing
