future of this forum?

Well, now that Camillus has shut its doors, presumably for good, I wonder if this forum will go the way of the Camillus Collector's Club and fade because of disinterest.

Or will this forum be renamed the Camillus Knives Collectors Forum and thrive in the manner of the Schrade forum here?

No reason it can't thrive. Although I don't post or lurk here often, I've seen some very strong characters discussing some fascinating topics.

I'd be very surprised if this forum didn't continue.

With no manufacturer sponsorship, it, like the Imperial Schrade forum exists by the good graces of the site owners. The Schrade forum was granted a reprive because it showed itself to be an asset to BF, by conduct and content. I would not be opposed to Camillus forum being renamed like the Schrade forum and remaining. Or, combining the Schrade and Camillus forums since both are now collector forums, and the companies were 'sisters', connected in birth and in death.

It may very go the way of Shrade, Camillus has been around a long time, and there are lots of Camillus knives out there. With collectors trading, and with the interest expressed by collectors and users, this forum should be around for quite awhile.
