Future of this subforum?

Now that CS has ceased activities on this forum, and there seem to no longer have a representative here since GSM, does that mean this will be shut down?

I read from another thread that if a manufacturer’s forum has no official representative, the forum will be closed. Can the mod confirm that?

I obviously would love this to stay open for the long term, although I’ve sensed a slowdown in activities in the recent months. I used to browse here daily, but I can’t seem to find the motivation nowadays, knowing that any feedback will not be heard my the official rep.
 
One would hope that GSM has looked into trying to keep Cold Steel's loyal following at ease with this news of a new ownership.
I fully understand, that as a business, one has to focus on many levels of running thst business. But, of course public relations is a big part of it. When you're trying to sell a product and keep that customer base coming back for more, these types of forums are good tools for helping in achieving that.
We shall see, and I do hope they soon get around to participating in discussions here and anywhere else that CS would usually partake in.
It just makes sense to do so, since it can not only help in easing fears about the change to loyal customers, but can also be a great marketing tool for them.
Let's hope :)
 
Well, the Ontario forum is still open....
Ontario is still Ontario, though; there's just been no sign of their rep since before covid
