Future RC-5 shipments

Eagle Industries notified us today that our next run of RC-5 sheaths will ship on April 30th. So, it will be May before we are shipping anymore RC-5 knives. Sorry about this guys, but it's just the way it is.

Oh no, looks like I missed the boat.

We still have a few in the pipeline that will be shipping soon but that's less than 50 pieces. Also, we do have some tan sheaths in stock, so if someone can settle for a tan sheath, have your dealer place the order and we can ship that. What we are going to be totally out of SOON is black and OD sheaths.
 
I think the black blade and tan sheath look good together, we should be loading some onto our website soon.

Manufacturing delays are just a part of the game.

As has been said a few times on this forum, I, for one, would rather wait for a great product than settle for an OK product right now.

Everyone who has handled an RC-5 agrees, they're well worth the wait.
 
Thank the Maker that I have mine already on order. I'd run out of injections by May... But it was well said below that it's better to wait a little for quality rather than get crap today. Thats what Wally-World is for.

Just for the sake of collectorship. What's the high number on the "first" run of RC-5's?
-and I saw this question on another thread and don't ever remember seeing if anyone responded: Are the serial numbers on the 5's concurrent period? Or are they numbered differently based on the finish color?

Anyone have any input?
 
All serial numbers on all of our knives are concurrent. Not numbered differently based on color, finish, etc. First run of RC-5 knives was around 500 pieces. I think that's right ;)
 
Well, I agree with a previous poster. Rather buy a great RAT than an "ok something else".

Always worth the wait :thumbup:
 
There's a singular truth on the Universe at work here. ALL RATS ARE GREAT!

For instance, I've been waiting on my RC-5 for so long that I kept on reading all these forums and kept talking myself into more. -Lisa just kept laughing at me and adding things to my order for me. ;) Like a good investment, it grew over time. So now I'm still waiting on the UPS truck for an RC-5, an Izula and a FireKit.

The problem is if they don't get here quick I know me and I'll be ordering up that 2nd RC-4 in DT that I can't live much longer without and having it FED-X'd NEXT DAY so it'll beat the others here!

I need a RAT Fix in a BAD WAY.

Does anyone know if the tan sheaths are available separately? My knife finally got shipped, but all that was available was an OD sheath. I would also be willing to trade with someone who would has a tan sheath but would rather have an OD. Thanks.
