We have all seen (or had) the options available for the Sebenza like the swedged blades, damascus blades and polished finish over the tumbled one.

I'm hoping there will be similar options available on the Umnum. in the future. I would like to see non swedged spearpoint blade with a spine like the tanto has.
Having a rounded spine like the seb. has on the last 2/3 towards the tip would be nice too IMO.

A nice bubble wrap damascus Umnum. would just be absolutly out the window

:)

+1 While I know the standard Umnumzaan blade is functional, I just don't like the appearance. The tanto is tempting, but a spearpoint without the swedge would probably entice me to pull the trigger.

yeah, some more blades fot the Um would be nice. Id also like to see a nakkid handle without the grooves.

If we are putting in requests?.....remove the swedge and create a third scallop and viola the niced sog style folder in the world.

I want flat grind!

Flat grind would be nice but I think the down side would be a blade that is a little too thin at the spine giving rise to possibly a weaker overall blade.......

I'm thinking of the Spyderco Millie when I say this. Great knife but a little too delicate in the strength area for heavy use.

Look at the How I Clean My Sebenza thread for pics of a flat grind Sebenza. I love it!

Seems to still have a lot of metal at the spine which is good, just wondering if this would take away some of the advantage of having a flat grind due to bigger angels coming up from the edge??

Just a thought...........

I agree it's a nice blade though

I'm a fan of the Umnumzaan, I like the swedge, that being said, I think the tanto version is pretty cool too:thumbup:
