I was watching this show the other day and the host, Mac, who is a retired Seal was using what looked to be a serrated Commander. If anyone hasn't seen this show, it is pretty kick@$$. I think it is on Discovery.

I've seen the show and it has some really good stuff on it. Next time i watch it i will look for a commander! Thanx.

Yeah, he had one on the episode with that shotgun made with about 8 different types of stainless steel. He got a perfect close up shot of it with the logo and everything.
 
I saw him using an Emerson the other day and I could have sworn it was a CQC-8. I think he was digging shrapnel out of a post with it, you could see the blade quite clearly. Futureweapons is on the Military Channel all the time. I LOVE the Military Channel. What other channel has back to back shows about guns, tanks, and fighter jets?
 
nope, mach 1, its been disco'd a while back, they also called it the maxx 1 IIRC, i couldnt tell on TV but the concensus was on the "emerson forum" it was a mach 1.

i could tell it wasnt a '8, and thought it was a commander, but they had pics taken off the program somehow/another lol, it was a mach 1.

edited to add: just went and looked and yes its a mach 1, if ya want a pic google "emerson mach 1" .

Great detective work SIFU1A! I did a search and was able to catch a peek of the Mach1. Any show I watch now my wife will ask, what kind of knife is that? I think she is mostly joking and being a little sarcastic but thats fine.

i thought is was an odd one for him to have, one of the obscure models, i was suprised it wasnt a commander or '8.

i dont think i have ever actually handled one of them, i cant say that about many EKI's.
