Doesn't work very well!
Tried out a convexed GW LE and my two scandi grinds at fuzz sticks.
It was really cold early evening so control wasn't very easy but the GWLE held its own. Now mind you, the fuzz sticks aren't/weren't pretty! It was 7 degrees F and i'd get 3 or 4 nice ones curled up together then the last try I'd end up shaving them all off.
I actually got a little fire going after dark using the shavings, dryer lint and a firesteel on the Skookum's O1 spine. The camera battery died from the cold so no fire pictures
.
Was a nice late day hike of a couple miles on and off trails.
Edit - To date, nothing cuts fuzzsticks as well as my Koster Bushcrafter. The GW LE was second today. The angle of the grind on the Skookum and the taller blade makes it difficult to control with intricate work but it excells at all other bushcraft chores. +1 to Koster
