I knew that sooner or later this was coming my way in the form of a request. Didn't take long :D

So anyway. I know some of you are wondering.

The answer is yes it can be done but you need to change out the blade and the lock bar together for each knife to make your Green G10 Delica a Waved version. I also make sure the barrels and screws used follow the blade and lock bar they were used in. It may or may not be needed to work. Just FYI.

These two actually lock up better with less movement once opened than they did in the factory set up. Go figure.

VERY interesting, STR. I have a wave Delica and a G-10 Delica, and ever since I got the G-10 Delica I have wondered if a blade-switch was possible.

I have not taken any knives apart before. STR - how difficult is the switch? I am thinking about attempting it myself, or I may send the knives to you if that is a better idea.

It probably is a better idea if you have not tried it to mail it to me. You don't want to start on one like that FRN Delica. The FRN spring holder in the rear of that folder has proven to be very problematic for a lot of users with experience disassembling folders that have ventured inside and been unable to get it back together without damage to the spacer.

Mailing work to me is easier than ever since I came up with the form to print at the top of the page in my new sticky thread for if you want to mail me work. Please fill out the form there in post number two after printing it out and all you need to do is send me enough $ to ship it back to you. I won't charge you for swapping them out. It is something I can do while watching TV here in the comfort of my home on our puzzle working table. Thanks

Thanks, STR!
I printed the form and will probably mail you the Delica wave and Delica G-10 tomorrow for the blade swap, along with money for return shipping.

Got the Delicas back and I like them both a lot better with the blade swap. The flat-grind blade works nicely in the lightweight FRN handle - makes for a light and high-performance cutting package.

The wave blade also seems more at home in the heavier and sturdier G-10 handle with full liners. I took a minute to sand the G-10 under the clip to smooth it out and reduce wear & tear on the pockets a little.

Thanks a lot STR. I couldn't be happier.
