Hoods Woods, TOPS knives, and SGFIVE, acting as T.A.G. Team Extreme and represented by Brian Jones, are proud to announce the biggest training and equipment event in history for law enforcement, military, search & rescue and the extreme recreational enthusiast: Our name for this event is TAG EXTREME!

The T.A.G. Extreme show is produced by Reed Exhibition Companies (REC), the premier trade event production and Management Company; in conjunction with the T.A.G. Team Extreme, the world leader in high intensity enforcement and survival training, and gear for professional operators and enthusiasts worldwide.

The T.A.G. Team has created… TAG Extreme!
This training and gear exhibit event has been conceived, designed, and implemented by professional operators for their peers, and for the enthusiast who trains in everything from shooting to parachuting, mountaineering to orienteering, and all other activities for extreme assignments and/or recreation. Many experts in the civilian sector offer skills that can benefit the professionals in their work, and the pros themselves can benefit from cross training with their peers from around the world to improve their skills in every area of their work. Also, civilians can interact personally with the pros from the US and other Special Ops teams, and learn what the pros do when things really count.

Who Will Attend?
Operators from many federal, state, and local police agencies have already signed up for TAG, and so have their procurement officers. Also, military units from all branches of the US Armed Forces will be there in great numbers. In addition, civilians, who look to the professionals to find out what equipment is best to buy, will be there, too.

What Kind of Training Will Be Offered?
All aspects of professional enforcement and Spec Ops techniques will be covered for teams from around the world. Civilians will be able to try out gear and take classes from some of the pros, in everything from shooting to hand-to-hand combat. TAG will feature many of the most-recognized and admired professional trainers from around the world. In addition, there will be a well-coordinated, international intelligence-sharing symposium for police and military agencies, in order to gather information on terrorists, international criminal gangs, and rogue governments. This session will be closed to the public. In light of the recent events of September 11, the demand for this symposium has become of paramount importance for agencies around the world.

Will We See Demonstrations?
You bet! Imagine the US Army Jump Team flying in to kick off the ceremonies, see SWAT teams measure their skills in dynamic entry and shooting competitions against Spec Ops units, plus much more. Manufacturers and professionals alike will demonstrate many kinds of gear.

What is the Benefit to Gear Manufacturers?
This event is designed to allow manufacturers of tactical gear to have their equipment used, evaluated, and purchased via the training and demonstration events. Manufacturers will have booth space on the trade show floor in order to interact with the procurement officers from every group in attendance. Also, you can brand your products and/or services in the eyes of the civilian market, therefore expanding your segments and sales.

This is the most comprehensive, action-oriented, fast-paced, and exciting conference event in the history of the tactical industry! It is the MUST-ATTEND event of the year!

Dates: October 4-7, 2002
Location: Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.

I personally want to thank Brian for all of the hard work and time he has put into this groundbreaking event as a member of the Hoods Woods team. Thanks Brian!

Ron

Good deal guys! Glad to see this show finally get off the ground and running. Sort of reminds me of the old SOF Conventions before Las Vegas quieted them down, but much better with what you're offering. Should be a helluva show.

Jeff

Shows of this type are very difficult to coordinate. The TAG team has an unrivalled connection with the special warfare and high risk folks. We could have put this together in some half assed way 6 months ago but it would have missed the high caliber people who have lined up behind us in this project.

We will be meeting with a few of the agencies involved in the show next week in Las Vegas. This promises to be an exciting and educational show nothing like anyone has seen in the past... SOF not withstanding. There has NEVER been a presentation like the one we have designed.

We hope you will all find the time to join us...

Ron

Hey guys it might be a litle early for this but can you post up a schedule of events, who's going to be there, availability of booth space, press info, etc.?

Thanks,

Jeff

Jeff,

We'll be finalizing details this week during our meetings in Vegas.

I'll have Reed give you a ring regarding the other details. Our contact there is Rick Tutunjian -- he's a good guy, and a good friend of mine, and will treat you well.

Best,

Brian.

Sounds cool! I would like to be there too, like Rob said if us Custom Knife maker types are welcome?... Any chance to hang out and drink beer with the likes of Simonich, Hood, Randall, Jones, and various other shady types sounds like a good time to me:-)
