Just to let folks know, TTW is now making wood handles for the Kabar Potbelly, Zombie series, etc.. Not affiliated with him, or saying you should get a set, just letting folks know, we have some additional options on some models that have had their share of customizing.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a Baconmaker that needs new rind!!!

Just picked up one in Zebrawood, I'm gonna be matchy matchy, got 2 sets for the full size BK's. This one is for the Zomstro project. Need him to get a set made for the 16.

What is the age cutoff for the young group? Not because I have a chance at getting in, mind you...I just want to know who's who.
(Sorry, not that who)

I'm also on the old side, 53. Handles should be here in another day. Got the stripper and throw away pan tonight. It'll be my Friday project. I've read a few posts on applying the patina. I think I am gonna try a variation of the spray bottle routine. How, I clean my shower is with 50% vinegar, 50% dawn dish washing soap. The Dawn makes it cling better. I think I'll add some lemon juice or similar to spice it up.

Don't forget to post some pics

I got the scales today, tomorrow I plan to strip, patina, and put the new scales on. Followed by a kydex sheath in Kryptek, I hope, if I don't screw it up. New post to follow this up when done.
