FYI Oldest SAK ever found

Wow I never would have thought... I was amazed when I saw Leathermans first attempt at making a home made multi tool. At the OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) in Portland Oregon they have 4 different multitools he made throughout and before his career and the early ones are very "home made" looking but also very usefull. He said he was making a long cross country trip in an old beater voltswagon and it kept breaking down. He made his first multitool as a compact way to carry all the tools he needed to fix the car in his pocket.

Also, that "spatula" sure does look like the beginnings of a Spyderco hawkbill blade!!

Really cool.

Gotta love the first comment on that site.

Look at that Claudius, what a prick. Every time you need to dig the eyes out of somebodies skull he shows up with that damn knife 'HEY THIS HAS TWENTY FUNCTIONS, LET ME HELP YOU OUT.'
Fancy flash bastard
