Well, G-10 fells kind of like a type of plactic, and i know chemical stripper desrtoys plactic. but i am not sure, if i can strip my CG BATAC now. i have no plans on stipping it, but when i feel the need i usally do right on the spot, and i dont want to post a thread, and wait when i really want to do it right then.

I remember reading one post that reported the g10 was ever so slightly softened after prolonged contact with the stripper, and was fine after it was cleaned and allowed to dry fully.

G-1O is NOT a type of plastic it is "A fiberglass based laminate. Layers of fiberglass cloth are soaked in resin and are compressed"

Paint stripper should do nothing really to it.

To strip it would be fine

although I have not done this to G10, I have done it to Micarta with no ill effects and from my understanding G10 is more resistant to chemicals than Micarta.

It definitely changes the color! It doesn't harm the material, but it turns black to grey.

my GW had micarta, i mstripped it amd the handles turned a whitish till i cleaned it. but when and if i strip my TAC then i will put it in at the leat amount of time needed.
