Trying to find supplies for a project I want to do. Want to put g-10 scales on the spyderco SS cricket, making full use of the frame lock, but increasing the grip 10 fold.
Trying to find 1/8" slabs, about 2" long, 1.5" wide... hopefully the same color if I can find scraps.
Anyone know of a cheap source, or have some laying around?
this project will be going alongside my other "find supplies first" project of putting wood scales on a SS 'Fly, and making it clipless/pure ambi for a gen't folder. Found 1/8" wood for this one.
edit: texas knifemakers supply has g-10, black 1/8" for 11USD, and Tex-tuff(?) in 5/32 and 1/8" slabs(at 14 and 17 respectively) in both black and burgundy. Anywhere cheaper?
