G-10 Brittle

G10 is epoxy fiberglass. The epoxy can lose properties if exposed to UV as in sunlight. But the exposure would have to be pretty strong. Say 3 months of daily full sunlight all day long, like if you left it out lying exposed all day, everyday.

Epoxy should not become brittle with age aside from that.

G-10/Fr-4 (fire resistant version)etc.... is pretty tough stuff, we use FR-4 alot in the Co. I work at, and the only thing I've seen is it can "shatter" (Co. terminology) but still holds together when impacted, kinda gets a lighter discolored look. We use alot of light green Fr-4 and when it shatters along an edge due to stress or something it turns an opaque white.
