Well, it's not cord-wrapped but I couldn't help myself with the hamon. :D She is 12 1/2 inches overall with a 7-inch (tip to handle) blade of 1/4-inch W-2. The handle is textured G-10 with homemade mosaic pins. Let me know what you think and thanks for checking it out. :)

Your gonna be writing your name in the hamon before long arent you Michael? Do some ocean waves next :) Looks great.

Love it; especially the blade. Send me this one, and I'll be glad to test her out for ya!

Very Nice. Looks like it would take a beating if necessary. Really like the texturing on the G-10. Did you just carve the texture???? Take Care!!!

Thanks -- just some dremeling with a metal bit. Glad it turned out okay, I wasn't sure when I first started doing it. :D

Beautiful piece and great looking handle. Only thing I would change is to round and chamfer the corners of the finger guard a little bit. This would make the knife more hand friendly.

Burch,
Looks REALLY good. Really like that hamon line! When are you going to get down my way.

That's really something Michael. I like that bamboo backdrop too. It looks like it belongs in the wild. Looks like you must have done well with the HT. Quench lines really show.

That hamon is beautiful! You are really getting this nailed down. That knife has a great form and looks like it'd do all the tasks required. I like your texturing on the handle too, this is something that's worth pursuing regularly. Too many handles are too slippery. And checkering is no fun at all! This is a good way to solve the problem. Well done.

Nice camper, Burchie! I really like the shape of that blade. One thing you don't see much of is a hamon on a camp knife. Well done!

Mark says it very well, Michael. Yep, I really like this latest one of yours also. Especially the hamon line and finish.
