G-10 handled Striders???

Why does it seem that the G-10 handled Striders aren't nearly as popular as their cord wrapped equivalents??? I just received a Buck Strider Solution, and I'll be honest, I absolutely love the way the G-10 feels in my hand! So much so that my next Strider (a BT) will sport G-10 scales instead of the more-popular cord wrap!!!

I've also heard (but never seen) that custom Striders actually have G-10 "handles" as opposed to "scales" (a la Buck Strider Solution), but that Strider was soon going to quick making handles and go with the aforementioned "scales" on their custom fixed blades. Can anyone confirm/deny this???

Probably because of the more secure grip.
Though I am fine with my G10 handle MH :)

P.S. And yes, all of the new Striders I have on order are either with G10 or CF handles.

We chose to drop the G10 handles from the line because of lack of interest.
The things are a pain. We would only do a few every month. It wasn't really worth it.

Remember though. Nothing ever goes away. Just becomes a little harder to find.

I did hear that those handles were difficult. I also heard that because those G-10 handles were a pain in the a$$ to make , that you are going to do scales (like the Buck Strider Solution) instead. Any truth to that???
