I am doing this job for a good friend here at blade forums.. using layered G-10 in black and blue.. I Removed about 20 thousandths of an inch by hand.. Starting with rough sand paper and moving up to 500 Grit trying to bring out the colors..
The lock side was blasted.. The blade still needs to be polished and it will have a low rider clip installed. And I will reblast everything again.. The G-10 was also blasted to even out the color tone..
Just need to take it apart and do the finishing touches and then I will post good pics...
This thing is much lighter now.. And looks great.. The blade just needs some cleaning...
I will be making a few more to get rid of while I have the material..
Its really fun to do..
Thanks
Matt
The blue coloring is off a little bit in the last picture.. its a happy medium..
